Long Division is a five day festival of music, art & culture in the West Yorkshire city of Wakefield. Though the main event is the Saturday music all-dayer, the surrounding days of comedy, art installations and family events are also all very important. Our plan with Long Division, as well as doing more traditional festival PR for the Saturday was to do our best to shine a light on the people working hard in DIY music & arts in the city. It’s important to the Long Division team that we put as much focus on the city as the event itself. Long Division 2019 was featured in The Guardian for their work with young people in Wakefield, Gigwise as part of a fantastic long read into the history of DIY music in the city.
The 2019 edition of Long Division was covered in BBC News, Q Magazine, Metro, DIY, Dork Magazine, Under The Radar, God Is In The TV, Yorkshire Post, PRS Magazine, Folk Radio UK, Stereoboard, Guardian Guide & lots more including live broadcasts from BBC Leeds and BBC Sheffield.

Knuckle are a three piece garage blues /punk band from Huddersfield - Made up of Ben Wallbanks, Rob Crisp and Jonny Firth – a postman, a community musician and… Jonny Firth, Knuckle have been perfecting their blues inspired, rough and ready garage rock for years now.
We recently started working with the band on the release of their debut album ‘Life Is Hard When You’re Soft Inside’ - with a focus on the bands individual stories, politics and strongest material to date, Knuckle have almost sold out of the pressing and have been enjoying rave reviews and growing crowds.
We began working with Secretly Canadian in October 2018 as Online Coordinator for their Jason Molina projects. This involved setting up social media accounts, rebuilding a website, compiling & archiving content to share and helping with sharing new releases such as the ‘Love & Work: The Lioness Sessions’ reissue boxset. One of the great songwriters and artists of recent times, it’s been an honour to be a part of people discovering the music of Jason Molina and sharing memories of his collaborators, friends and family.
We have a built a new website which will be launching soon.
